What muir is

muir is a diagnostic-assessment platform in private beta, currently used by a single user. It produces calibrated hypotheses about health conditions based on symptoms, lab data, wearable biometrics, and other inputs you provide. Every assessment is reviewed by a partnered clinician before any clinical action is finalized.

muir is not a substitute for medical care. It is a tool for structuring the diagnostic conversation you have with your clinician, not a replacement for one.

Access

Access to muir is currently invite-only. We do not offer public signup. If you have access, you agreed to these terms when you accepted your invitation; continued use constitutes ongoing acceptance.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you tell muir. Inaccurate or incomplete information will produce inaccurate or incomplete assessments. Always discuss muir's suggestions with a licensed clinician before acting on them.

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. We will never ask for your password by email or message.

No medical advice

The hypotheses, suggestions, and summaries muir produces are not medical advice. They are calibrated outputs of a diagnostic engine, reviewed by a partnered clinician, intended to help you and your clinician have a more structured conversation.

Do not use muir for medical emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.

Third-party services

When you connect a third-party service (e.g., Oura, Apple Health, a future lab or EHR integration), you grant muir permission to access the specific data scopes you approve. That service's terms govern the data on their side; ours govern how we handle it once it reaches muir.

Liability

muir is provided as-is during the private-beta period. Diagnostic assessments are produced with calibrated uncertainty and reviewed by a clinician, but no diagnostic tool — AI or otherwise — is infallible. To the maximum extent permitted by law, muir and its operators are not liable for clinical decisions made on the basis of muir's output without clinician concurrence.

Termination

You may terminate your use of muir at any time by requesting account deletion (see Privacy page). We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated or if continued operation creates risk to you or other users.
